지난번에 이어 다시 한번 강조하자. 아이엘츠스피킹 파트1은 복잡하게 말할 필요가 없다. 똑같이 반복하면 재미가 없으니 한단어만 더 붙여볼까? '쓸데없이' 복잡하게 말할 필요가 없다.
"파트 1은 간.단.하.게."
아래는 아이엘츠 스피킹 파트 1의 답변들 중 일부이다.왼편은 문법적인 문제를 떠나서 어려운 단어와 표현을 쓰려고 노력했지만 오히려 부자연스러운 답이 되었고, 쉬운 표현을 썼지만 보다 자연스럽게 느껴진다. 우리가 추구해야하는 것은 오른쪽과 같은 답이다.

그런데 이 자연스러움의 문제는 혼자서는 어쩔 수가 없다. 누군들 일부러 왼편처럼 말하고자 했겠는가? 문법적인 오류 뿐만 아니라 원어민이 들었을때 자연스러운 표현이 되려면 선생님이 하나 하나 짚어주는 교정 수업이 필수적이고 이런 점에서 맘잉글리쉬 수업은 강력하다.
