    Task Response: 7
The essay responds reasonably well to the task. The candidate provides a clear opinion that shows full agreement with the statement, provides reasons for their argument, and addresses the opposing view before refuting it. However, specific examples could be enhanced to make arguments more compelling.

    Coherence & Cohesion: 7.5
Sentences and ideas are generally logically arranged, and there's a clear progression of thought throughout the text. The use of linking words and cohesive devices is mostly accurate. However, some details could be more clearly connected to the overall argument.

    Lexical Resource: 7
The range of vocabulary is good, with the use of less common words and expressions. However, the accuracy of word choice somewhat limits the range of vocabulary ("ones who read", "more concentrate" instead of "more concentrated", "watcher" instead of "viewers").

    Grammatical Range & Accuracy: 6.5
There is a mix of simple and complex sentences, showing a reasonable control of grammar. However, there are a number of errors especially in verb forms and agreement ("ones who read", "books do not require too much money to publish", "watching TV are provided") that can cause confusion and thus affecting the clarity of arguments.

    Overall: 7
This essay is generally well-written with some minor mistakes affecting its clarity. The student provides a clear stance, logical arguments, and refutations. To improve, the student needs to pay attention to grammatical accuracy and more effective use of specific examples.

Some people believe that people who read books can develop more imagination and language skills than those who prefer to watch TV. To what extent do you agree or disagree?
    Essay:
Some argue that reading books fosters a richer imagination and more proficient language skills compared to watching television. I concur with this perspective, recognizing the unique mental stimulation that reading offers.

Reading requires an active and focused engagement with text, which can strengthen cognitive capabilities and imagination. To appreciate the text, one needs to remain concentrated, leading to an improved ability to retain details and communicate effectively. For instance, when reading a science fiction novel, one is bound to generate countless mental illustrations - a demonstration of imagination that watching television, a passive activity, seldom evokes.

Furthermore, books cover a broader range of subjects than movies; their creation necessitates less capital, allowing diverse ideas to flourish. This exposure to various topics through reading helps to enhance language skills and broaden readers' perspectives. An individual reading a centuries-old book, which may not have a film adaptation, is expanding their linguistic and cultural knowledge.

Contrarily, some may argue that visual details from television are easier to memorize. However, given the passive nature of watching, viewers are often not fully engaged, resulting in information quickly fading post-viewing.

In conclusion, despite the entertaining nature of television, books offer a superior tool for fostering our imagination and enhancing our language skills due to the reasons aforementioned.

Some individuals are of the belief that reading books can boost the imagination and improve the communication skills better that watching TV. I think this idea is justifiable and I totally agree with it.
To begin with, people need more concentration when they read a book. They should be focus to understand the meaning, so this process of reading can improve their cognitive abilities and boost their imagination. When people learn to be more concentrate they can recall detains and information better which help them to communicate well. For example, ones who read a science-fiction book can create many images on their own head, conversely to watch TV which is a passive process.
Moreover, books provide a wide range of topics than the movies. Movies needs more budget to create, however books do not require too much money to publish. So, people can access to different topics and broaden their horizon which help them to have better language skills in any discussions. For example, people can read a book from past centuries which have no movie made based on it.
Some might argue that, watching TV are provided more visual details which people can memorize better; however, I firmly believe that this process is passive and most of watcher are not fully concentrate, so the information is lost soon after watching the movie.
In conclusion, while watching TV is more interesting, it is believed that reading books can provide more plus points such as developing imagination and language skills because of the above-mentioned reasons.
