I took a memorable trip to Chicago using public transport.
I travelled with two close friends from college and our main goal was to explore our city's famous landmarks without the hassle of driving and parking.
We used a combination of buses and the subway, which allowed us to hop on and off at various attractions like Millennium Park, the Art Institute and Navy Pier. Along the way, we chatted, people watched and enjoyed impromptu conversations with locals and other tourists.
It was surprisingly relaxing not to worry about traffic or directions.
The experience was incredibly positive. Traveling by public transport gave us a unique perspective of the city and an opportunity to interact more closely with its vibrant culture.
