I have seen many reports of people falling to their deaths because they went skydiving and the parachute didn't open.
For me, being successful means you live to enjoy the fruits of your labor.
So, engaging in risky activities is not equal to success.
However, if you are too afraid to take chances, you will be stuck in one place and won't achieve anything.
