It depends on the opportunity presented. I think it's worth the risk
if it fits their long-term goals. For instance, if their dream is to work overseas,

they should take the chance of working abroad
when the opportunity presents itself. It may not be what they'd hope for, but it's a means to an end.
If they don't grab the chance and strike while the iron is hot, they will never cease to wonder what could have happened if they did. That's torture. Then again, if it will make life more complex than being contented with their job is better.
