Parents should teach their children about respect and be the ones to set
a good example for them. Values are taught at home as family members or the first people that kids interact with.
With this, the parents must be the ones to introduce such values to their children,
not only with respect for teachers but for everyone else. In doing so, they are also teaching them how to be responsible and how to own up for their mistakes.
Also, if kids see that their parents are practicing what they preach, then they will imitate these good values from them.
For example, if the parents are polite and courteous to the elderly, then we can expect the kids to do the same.
