although some have shifted to paper. Most Koreans prefer to use plastic bags as well when they go grocery shopping.
When we buy wet food or any wet item, like meet, it doesn't make sense to use paper.
So for anything that has liquid in it, we use plastic.
Finally, toys; Nearly every toy product is made from polymer or another type of plastic. When the child gets bored or when they outgrow the toy, it is discarded.
This is why we also see piles of this type of garbage in my country.
