In my society, farmers are the underdogs. They play a key role in our country and even to the world, but they are less appreciative.
If it weren't for them, I don't think we'd have regular cups of rice and enough vegetables and spices for our side dishes. That is why it is quite disheartening to think that young people are disgusted or ashamed to become farmers.
My government has even tried to lure the younger generation to work in agriculture by subsidizing their living costs and other things if they agree to move to the countryside.
