Yes, of course, they are.
They are young and easily affected by their surroundings.
Their choices are made because of what they see or hear from their peers, media, or their parents. Their minds can inevitably be altered as they still have no personal experience with anything.
For example, teenagers like to wear the same fashionable clothes or shoes because these are what they see from idols or their friends. Some would go watch the same movies or go to the same academies because it is what everybody is doing.
Sometimes, it would also be because of peer pressure.
I've heard stories about some teenagers being goaded or bullied by other students to share exam answers.
