To begin with, those mentioned metropolises have the yin and the yang of the comforts of a city and scenic natural spots. Modern-day conveniences like fast and reliable transportation, well-developed delivery systems, and other facilities have made many city-dwellers to be dependent on these perks.
Even though life in the city can be very hectic
and modern, there's a lighter side to it. Bukhan Mountain, for instance, is a great mountain climbing spot
that can be climbed in less than a day for some of the best views of Seoul.
Also, there are many other mountains nearby that are hiker's playgrounds.
However, if you're more of a water person, the Han River is the best place to jog, kayak and windsurf.
