I believe that parents should encourage their kids in various situations. For one thing,
the parents must give unrelenting support when their kids are trying
something new because, most probably, they will make mistakes or fail at first,
so the parents' job is to convince them not to give up. For another, when they feel down or blue, their parents must explain that their emotion is natural and normal,
so they don't need to think so much about it and move on with better things.
This will help their children grow up to be emotionally mature individuals.
