I have been wasting a lot of my time either at work or with my studies studies, sacrificing through the consequences of squandering.
My precious time.
Drove me to look for ways to avoid such things.
This is why it led to my keeping my smartphone away at all times.
When I have a pressing matter to attend to, whenever I have an important task to finish, like a deadline at work.
I just hide my phone inside my locked cabinet.
Then I put the key somewhere out of sight and concentrate on my work or any particular task.
I know it might sound silly and not all, but it is really challenging for me.
I know, I should not say this, but I am dependent on my phone.
I Furthermore, I love looking for reasons to check my phone.
A simple as the notification sound of a game or email can drive me nuts.
If I don't open it.
Immediately.
At first, I have to be honest with you.
I thought it was much harder than I imagined imagined, my addiction to my phone hit me like a brick because it dawned on me.
Just how many hours I have wasted for the last couple of years.
Now having this new change or a method made me finish my tasks an hour and half faster than before.
Imagine.
I used to finish writing a 300 word 300-word essay in 3 hours.
Now, it only takes less than an hour or so.
So, no matter how difficult it is for me to give up my smartphone use.
I'm determined to stick with it.
