Change is constant in this world,
however, creating a positive change in one's life is not a piece of cake for most people, including me. Today,
I'd like to talk about incorporating exercise into my daily routine.
What I mean is that I try to at least go for a walk, jog or do home training if I can't go to the gym to workout.
I have decided to push myself to pursue this habit for a healthy life.
I realize that as the years pass, my physical abilities is gradually declining.
I could barely walk a kilometer without having breathing difficulties, especially now that I always have to keep my mask on as one of the covid-19 protocols in our neighborhood.
It's also because of the fact that
I've been telecommuting in the last couple of years which means that I've been living a sedentary life for quite some time now. Unfortunately, since I live alone, I have to do it by myself which actually makes it more difficult.
However, if I think about it, on the bright side of having to do it alone, somehow it gives me the opportunity to not only exercise but also be alone with my thoughts to check whether I'm on the right track in my life and whether I need to realign my priorities. So basically, it's like killing two birds
with one stone.
I absolutely feel optimistic about this recent change
I've done in my life.
So far,
I'm starting to feel good,
not only physically but also emotionally.
I guess it's true
what they say; that exercise can somehow improve one's mood. Aside from that,
I'm feeling more confident about myself.
I feel that I am in control of my life and that I can do anything
I want as long as I put my mind to it.
