I've only seen two types of reactions from children
the first time they go to school.
The first one is excitement because they see a lot of kids their age, many potential playmates, and it's a new place filled with new things to experience.
So for these children, school is an adventure.
The other reaction is fright. Many kids experience separation anxiety
as it will be their first time away from home and their parents.
These are kids that cry and throw a fit when they realize their moms and dads will be leaving them there alone with strangers.
