I think so people's preferences change as they age. Young people go for excitement and adventure.
They are full of energy and curiosity, so they would be more open to exotic places away from the norm.
I know a few young people who are even willing to risk their lives for a chance to visit dangerous places or do insane things like bungee jumping. On the other hand, when you get to a certain age, you realize that life is not about moving fast.
It's more about slowing down, enjoying moments,
no matter how small, with people you love, making memories. So, they would go for quieter escapades. Maybe a visit to a rural area or a slow ride to a scenic mountain top. Anything that says peace, but with good food and accommodation.
