Urban areas have more organized transportation services by the means of subways, trains or inner- city buses with set schedules that passengers can follow.
It is convenient, affordable and very visible anywhere in the city. Rural areas, on the other hand, have limited transport options.
They might have a train or a bus system that only reaches from station to station. Schedules
can also be limited to early morning and late afternoon time sets.
I remember when I was supposed to take the last bus from my grandmother's hometown, and I missed it,
I had to wait till the next morning as there are only two trips daily in that area.
