It's sad to imagine but this will probably happen sooner than later.
Small markets started to decline with the opening of giant malls
a couple of decades ago. They had difficulty competing because the big shopping malls had everything-- shopping, entertainment, food, and special events.
More recently,
Internet shopping sites such as Amazon, Alibaba and G market have also taken away customers from traditional street vendors.
