Although I rarely open my Facebook app, there was this one time two years ago, something made me pause and scrolling down my timeline.
I remembered correctly that my main purpose for opening the app was

I was dumbfounded by the title, and the attached picture of a small lifeless bat in a bowl.
Since it peaked my interest, I hurriedly clicked and it redirected me to Chinese news media.
Luckily, I still know how to read traditional Chinese characters.
The article mentioned that a bunch of people got sick and one passed away after eating a Wuhan delicacy made from bat soup. As I read further, a new strain of the virus we get from
common colds was the main culprit. At first, I was skeptical of what I was reading, and made me question whether my Chinese reading skills have deteriorated.
I remembered correctly that my main purpose for opening the app was
to double-check what my best friend posted on my wall.
