When I was in high school, I found a secret place on campus, that provided me with peace when I needed it.
It was an old abandoned warehouse behind the high school biology lab.
Well, they call it a warehouse might be an exaggeration because it was only the size of our regular classrooms.
Anyway, I found it during summer school.
It was a boring day, so I decided to go exploring.
The door was locked, but I was able to go in through a broken window. Inside were old books, broken furniture, and a thick layer of dust. From that point on,
I became a regular visitor. I would spend time there at least once a week reading books or looking for objects of Interest.
I was an introvert so
it was paradise for me.
I never showed it to anyone, and I only told my best friend a few years after graduation. I loved that place.
It was an island of peace amidst the sea of chaos that his teenage life.
