In my view, there are several downsides related to this topic. First off, some buildings
don't allow keeping pets, or even if they do, taking your dog down for a walk takes a lot of effort. Moreover, your neighbors could really be close to you
and you have to deal with too much noise or interference from the people next door.
And finally, during a power failure, you've got to climb several floors up or down.
