In my view, I think the biggest difference between now and the past is the general population was substantially more interested in business.
Tycoons who led big corporations such Sun Life, Telus and Canadian Tire because these companies had a huge stake hold over a number of subsidiaries all of which had a great influence on the overall economy. On the other hand in today's Canada, the younger generation plays a more significant role due to the problem of the country having an aging population. Accordingly,
this issue has propelled the younger generation to be more versatile and to think out-of-the-box
thus generating a wider range of talented individuals in different fields, hence people now consider all types of role models to be famous.
