Regional specialities bring more familiarity to the local's senses.
so, it is a common sight to have their allegiance to their cuisine.
Imagine, people eat them almost daily,
so being accustomed to their food is just an understatement.
Not only that, local cuisine can be a good way for the natives to have a cultural identity that they can be proud to call their own.
This is why, for example,
most states here in South Korea, have their specialties as their way to attract visitors; makgeolli or rice wine to Sansawon, wanggalbi or beef short ribs to Suwon, and stir-fried chicken to Chuncheon.
