Whether students should be taken to school by parents or go there by themselves can only be determined by the situation and the students age for one as long as schools and parents agreed upon hiring a school bus service to pick a student up from home to school and vice versa.
Then I think students can go to school by themselves another point to consider as the age group.
I think preschoolers and Elementary School pupils are still naive.
So making it mandatory for parents to take them to school would eliminate risks of danger but teen students from middle school and home.
