We call her Yuki and she is Japanese.
She was my high school classmate and a dear friend until 8 today.
I first met Yuki during my freshman year back in the early 2000s at that time.
Her father was promoted to manager of their companies sole office thought it was a prestigious assignment so they had no choice but to pack up their belongings and migrated to Korea we became close because we were assigned as partners in a group project at first it was difficult being partners with her because of the language barrier.
She knew only basic Korean and had a limited vocabulary.
It was an uphill battle, but she quickly learned and things became more smooth after a few months.
However, what we really liked about Yuki was that she is very polite and very careful with her words.
She never speaks without consideration and I've never heard of anyone ever being offended by her.
She was well-liked by students and teachers alike.
I believe that she is like this because of her upbringing and cultural background.
The Japanese are very polite people and their language nihongo is full of diplomatic Expressions.

However, her politeness can sometimes be frustrating because it also prevents her from fully expressing her emotions.
