Yes, they do.
Although I think it isn't as many as the young children have I mean some adults do spend a part of their spare time daydreaming about things they hope will happen or would have happened but children use their imaginations in almost everything that they do on a daily basis a perfect example of this would be a stressed out and overworked adult imagining a one-of-a-kind holiday in Hawaii and kids who always imagine a robot completing his homework for him know.
I don't think adults can have lots of imagination one reason is that they're all busy as bees in their Career Development and personal lives that they don't have enough time to imagine anything away from reality.
Another reason can be the fact that most adults often to evidence-based thinking which means that all they do are based on facts and not just their imagination for instance an office worker normally writes his reports based on facts down.
