I won first place in an inter year level essay writing competition in our school.
The theme was about love for Korea and how to show it as a student and all the high school sections spawned representative to the contest.
I was surprised to be chosen and , and I almost backed out but my teacher and classmates supported me with words of encouragement the competition took place during the gay schwengel Schengen our national founding day of Korea on the 3rd of October the winners were announced three or four days later.
If I remember correctly the heck the school announced it and I had to go on stage to receive my medal.
I did not do much to prepare because my teacher Miss Kim randomly chose the representative from our class.
I just had to attend a short seminar two hours before the event then we already started writing.
The topic of the seminar was about how to write an essay for a competition.
We didn't even have any coaches.
Of course.
I felt Overjoyed overjoyed because I didn't expect to win a I a was a greenhorn.
It was my first time to join any competition.
I was one of the youngest participants and the others were older and more experienced team was also prize money in addition to the metal.
So So, it was a pretty good deal.
