I believe there are several qualities firstly patience because old people can be stubborn at times due to their pride and ego.
Secondly good communication skills since seniors are always looking for someone to talk to and listen to their past lives and finally medical skills because they are weak and health complications might happen any time so it's good to have someone who can attend to them in emergency situations.
