One of the drawbacks of taking mass transport is that it can be uncomfortable especially during rush hours.
Most of the time people are heading home and buses or Subways can become adjusted already during that time.
Also people can't go anywhere because public transport has specific areas wherein they are allowed to drop and pick up passengers.
I guess those two things are the most common disadvantages.
